The purpose of the Directory
is three-fold:

It serves as a general
information/reference material for establishing direct contacts
with; and for generating business opportunities for these associations |

It facilitates access to
associations with meetings potential who can be
encouraged to bid for and host international congresses. |

More importantly,
the expanded information in this Directory is meant for
international associations and meeting
planners who are in search of local counterparts for meetings
and other purposes. |
Information in this Directory
was obtained through a Questionnaire Survey conducted by the
Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation. Follow-ups through
phone calls and letters were also made to ensure that the information
obtained from the survey was accurate and complete. Additional
data were
gathered from telephone inquiries and newspaper clippings.
