For the Filipino, the pina is not just the pineapple fruit; it is a positive proof of his artistry and ingenuity. From the pineapple fiber, the Filipino has created an exquisite cloth known as Pina. The Pina makes for some of the finest and most prized pieces of embroidered clothing, linens, costumes, and other souvenir items. The Pina is a fruit and a work of art.
